If you live in Plymouth you will know how wet it gets here! Nothing is worse than being stuck inside on a rainy day in Plymouth with your 2 year old!
I thought it was about time that I share my top 5 soft play areas in Plymouth. Guaranteed when it is raining in Plymouth we will be at one of them!
Drakes Den
Estover Road, Plymouth, PL6 7PS
My girls LOVE Drakes Den. The little houses they have to the left of the soft play have helped create many imaginative game. Drakes Den also serve very yummy hot chocolate! It doesn’t tend to get too busy during the week when kids are in school so it has turned into a great place to meet for play dates.
Plymouth Play Barn
29 Manor Street, Plymouth, PL1 1TW
We have only just discovered the Plymouth Play Barn. It is tucked away but once you find it you will become a frequent visitor! I love that they have sofas that you can relax on while your children can go wild!
Endsleigh Garden Centre
A38, Ivybridge, PL21 9JL
Who doesn’t love a garden centre?! This is probably got my vote for THE best soft play area in Plymouth. (Well, almost in Plymouth!) Not only have you got the pets corner in the garden centre to have a nosy at but the soft play area is HUGE! Lots of seating and super yummy tea and scones to enjoy!
The Donkey Sanctuary
The Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth, EX10 0NU
We loved the Donkey Sanctuary. We went on a super chilly day but still had lots of fun! Obviously the main purpose of this fantastic sanctuary is the care of the beautiful donkeys that they house. Our children had great fun feeding the animals. Soft play inside the big barn just topped off the day! Such a huge place to play and plenty of space to eat our picnic too! The outside play park was huge too. I would definitely recommend this place if you have kids with too much energy like mine!
China Fleet
China Fleet Country Club, Saltash, PL12 6LJ
This one is a little drive to but the food 100% makes it worth it! China Fleet has plenty of parking – such a bonus when you hate parking in tight spots! It has a large indoor soft play area right next to the restaurant upstairs. And if you fancy making a whole day of it the pool is super warm too!
